Bishop Carl H. Montgomery II
Bishop Montgomery, a native of Philadelphia, PA, is a powerful preacher, teacher, and writer. He is the Senior Pastor and establishmentarian of the Greater Grace Harvest Church in Baltimore, MD, where his wife, Elder Sheila Montgomery, serves with him as Co-Pastor. They are the proud parents of one daughter, Yeve Gennele.
The bishop holds a Bachelor of Theology degree from Loyola College of Maryland, a Masters of Education degree in Counseling from Coppin State University, and a Doctorate of Ministry degree from Howard University School of Divinity. Dr. Montgomery is a guest lecturer & instructor for the Continuing Education Division of the Howard University School of Divinity, teaching Biblical Studies, and Church History. In addition to his ministerial responsibility, he is a Certified Professional Counselor (CPC) and an Alcohol and Drug Approved Supervisor (ADAS) through the State of Maryland Department of Health and Mental Hygiene. His public service includes providing therapy/counseling in the Maryland Correctional system as acting director.
Bishop Montgomery presides over the Harvest Time Covenant Fellowship International, a covenant network of pastors in the United States and Africa. He is the founder and CEO of the Grace of God Ministries, Inc., under which his consultation firm provides interdenominational services in areas of church order, protocol and studies in the episcopacy. As a churchman, he transcends denominational barriers, with his talents and skills utilized by various Christian faith groups. He serves as a board member of the Joint College of African American Pentecostal Bishops. He is covenant member of the Kingdom Fellowship of Covenant Ministries, where he also serves as an executive board member, chairing the Adjudication Committee. He has authored several publications, including his published work, Why Worry When God: Scriptural Therapy for Anxiety, (ISBN 0-9678976-0-2)
