What is Consecration?
Hebrew 7:28 - For the law maketh men high priests which have infirmity; but the word of the oath, which was since the law, maketh the Son, who is consecrated for evermore.
-
Consecrate is to devote and dedicate your life to God for a sacred or high purpose.
-
It is a concentrated effort to set the captives free (those bound by satan).
-
To be anointed.
Hebrew 10:19-23 - Having therefore, brethren, boldness to enter into the holiest by the blood of Jesus, By a new and living way, which he hath consecrated for us, through the veil, that is to say, his flesh; And having an high priest over the house of God; Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water. Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;)
-
To totally enter into the presence of God without thinking of ourselves and without hesitation.
