Summer jobs launch careers is the theme for Baltimore City's YouthWorks campaign. Baltimore City youth and young adults, ages 14-24, will develop the essential work skills that today's employers require, and many will discover their true career interests during the summer of 2010. YouthWorks provides well-prepared, multi-skilled, and dependable high school and college students who are eager to work. While the program benefits youth by allowing them to explore careers and better understand the value of education, it also enriches businesses by giving them access to a talented and energetic labor pool of motivated workers.

GED Program
GED classes are designed for adults 16 years of age or older who have not earned their high school diploma and are not currently enrolled in a school program. Instruction helps you prepare to take the Tests of General Educational Development (GED) administered by the Maryland State Department of Education in order to receive your Maryland High School Diploma. Study is in five program areas:Writing, Social Studies, Science, Literature, and Mathematics.
