WHAT IS CONSECRATION
Consecrate is to devote and dedicate your life to God for a sacred or high purpose.
It is a concentrated effort to set the captives free (those bound by Satan).
To be anointed
For the law maketh men high priests which have infirmity; but the word of the oath, which was since the law, maketh the Son, who is consecrated for evermore. Hebrew 7:28
To totally enter into the presence of God without thinking of ourselves and without hesitation.
(19) Having therefore, brethren, boldness to enter into the holiest by the blood of Jesus, (20) by a new and living way, which he hath consecrated for us, through the veil, that is to say, his flesh; (21) and having an high priest over the house of God; (22) let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water. (23) Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;). Hebrew 10:19-23
WHO SHOULD CONSECRATE
The chosen ones, the people of God.
Those who want to get closer to God.
(5) ye also, as lively stones, are built up a spiritual house, an holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God by Jesus Christ.
(9) But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light:
(10) which in time past were not a people, but are now the people of God: which had not obtained mercy, but now have obtained mercy. I Peter 2:5, 9, & 10
We are called out for a purpose.
We hold the treasury (the Word of God, the Holy Ghost).
But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us. II Corinthians 4:7
WHEN SHOULD WE CONSECRATE?
Ideally always.
Always dedicate for the work of the Lord.
Dedicated and consecrated lives cause prayers to be heard by God.
WHY SHOULD WE CONSECRATE
To get closer to God.
To hear from heaven that the land might be healed.
To break yokes and to let the oppressed go free.
To loose the bands of wickedness.
Is not this the fast that I have chosen? to loose the bands of wickedness, to undo the heavy burdens, and to let the oppressed go free, and that ye break every yoke? Isaiah 58:6
God gives us direction when we consecrate.
Then I proclaimed a fast there, at the river of Ahava, that we might afflict ourselves before our God, to seek of him a right way for us, and for our little ones, and for all our substance. Ezra 8:21
So we might enter into the presence of the Lord.
The spirit of the Lord will burn up everything that is not like him.
EFFECTS OF CONSECRATION
Bring a unity of spirit.
When we touch God, then he will heal the land.
HOW SHOULD WE CONSECRATE
Consecrate by cleansing ourselves of all filthiness of the flesh and spirit.
Out of a pure heart and with clean hands.
By emptying out all that is not like God.
But I determined this with myself, that I would not come again to you in heaviness. II Corinthians 2:1
Strategy Against the Enemy

Be temperate in watching television and radio programming.
Find a time you can meditate on God.
Read your Word daily.
